We’re excited to host you. Below you’ll find everything you need to know for your visit — from gate access and check-in details to dress code, course etiquette, and clubhouse guidelines. Please review the information before arriving to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. We look forward to welcoming you to Shadow Glen and hope you enjoy your time with us.
 

  • While on the golf course or practice area proper golf attire must be worn at all times.
  • Men may wear golf slacks or Bermuda length shorts. Shirts must have a collar, mock neck, or turtleneck. Shirts must remain tucked in, and belts worn at all times.
    • Tank tops, t-shirts, gym shorts, non-golf cargo shorts, and denim apparel are not permitted to be worn on the golf course of Practice area.
  • Women may wear golf slacks, skirts, or Bermuda length shorts.
    • Short shorts, gym shorts, denim apparel, and halter-tops are not permitted.
  • Children are governed by the same rules of attire as adults.
  • Soft spikes, approved by the Club, are the only cleated footwear permitted on the golf course.
  • Member and guest attire deemed inappropriate, offensive, or provocative will not be permitted at any time.
  • Members are reminded to inform their guests of all attire guidelines in advance to avoid any embarrassment at the Club. 
  • The golf course is the collective property of the Members as a whole, and each Member’s conduct shall be governed by the traditional etiquette and decorum of the game showing respect for the rights of others.
  • Target pace of play is established to be 4 hours and 10 minutes (04:10) for 18 holes.
    • The Club Golf Professionals and Club Marshal have the authority to require a group to comply with pace of play requests.
    • At the discretion of the Club Golf Professionals and staff, Members found to repeatedly be out of compliance with pace of play target times may be subject to play restrictions. Such restrictions will be communicated in writing by the Golf Committee or Board of Directors, as appropriate.
  • Range balls SHALL NOT be removed from the practice area. Violation of this rule, whether by a Member, dependent, or guest, will be subject to formal discipline of the responsible Member.
  • Damages or injury to golfers and/or adjacent property and persons are NOT the responsibility of Shadow Glen Golf Club. 
  • USGA rules shall govern play except as modified on tournament rule sheets, or as posted in the Golf Shop.
  • On a routine daily basis, bunker rakes will be placed outside of the bunkers and golfers are asked to return them to those positions following their use. Players are asked to rake bunkers, taking care to return the sand to an undisturbed condition upon exit. Please do not leave rakes in the bunkers.
  • Players are responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the course by properly raking bunkers, replacing divots, repairing ball marks on the greens, and reporting course defects or damages to the Golf Shop.
  • Practice is restricted to designated practice areas and practice putting green. 
  • Proper attire is required at all times while on Club property.
    • Pants, capris, skirts, shorts, and dresses, including clothing made of clean and neat denim, are permitted in the clubhouse facility. Denim attire is not permitted on the Golf Course or practice areas.
    • Accompanying attire such as collared shirts, blouses, crew neck shirts, and crew and V-neck sweaters are permitted.
    • Shirts or sweatshirts with slogans or numbers, jerseys, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts (men), tank tops (men), halter tops, half shirts (midriffs showing), or undershirts are not permitted.
    • Attire displaying inappropriate words, terms, or pictures will not be allowed.
    • Children are expected to dress in clean and smart clothing appropriate to their age.
    • Smart and neat hats and visors are permitted in the dining areas. Headwear must be worn in a traditional bill-forward orientation.
    • Proper golf course attire is permissible in all areas of the clubhouse, including dining areas.
    • Members are reminded to inform their guests of all attire guidelines in advance to avoid any embarrassment at the Club.
